It is rare for companies\u00a0to explicitly demonstrate how their human\u00a0capital is contributing to value creation.\u00a0However, some experimentation with reporting\u00a0on outputs and outcomes is taking place.<\/p>\n<p>For example, the OMS Human Capital Reporting\u00a0Template \u00a9 identifies \u201cthe critical questions\u00a0that need answering\u201d to reveal \u201cunderlying value\u00a0and risk\u201d7. The template \u201cfollows the principles\u00a0of whole system thinking; recognizing that all\u00a0organizational systems are inextricably bound\u00a0up with human systems, which directly and\u00a0indirectly influence performance, total value\u00a0creation and operational risk\u201d.
